Arachnid Wins Prestigious Award

Co-President, Sam Zammuto, recently accepted the “AMOA Innovator Award” for Arachnid’s new Galaxy 3 Live dart game at the AAMA/AMOA Amusement Expo. Sam Zammuto said, “Arachnid is proud and honored to be presented with the Innovator Award from the AMOA. The Galaxy 3 Live is the best dart game ever manufactured and truly a game changer for Operators.”

The new game offers two targets in one (13″ and 15″), remote play, tri-color LED illumination, built-in leagues and real-time statistics. “The response to the Galaxy 3 Live was overwhelming with hundreds of orders taken at the AMOA show,” said Sam Zammuto.

The AAMA/AMOA Amusement Expo took place March 14-16, 2012 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Exhibitors were up from last year totaling 378 booths compared to last year’s 341. The show seminar program included 12 informative sessions attracting over 500 people. Attendees and exhibitors expressed renewed optimism about the trade. Total attendance was approximately 3,000 according to show manager Brian Glasgow of W.T. Glasgow. “There is an energy level that is much greater than we have seen in year’s past,” said outgoing AMOA President Donovan Fremin, who tipped his hat to the quality level of the goods being shown on the exhibit floor. “Good product brings good people.”
